Buenos Aires, Nov 15 (NA) – Godoy Cruz de Mendoza was relegated to the Primera Nacional following a 1-1 draw with Deportivo Riestra, in the 16th round of the Torneo Clausura. Deportivo Riestra's goal came in the 19th minute of the first half through forward Nicolás Benegas, while for the 'Tomba', it was the winger Santino Andino who equalized just three minutes later. The match, covered live by the Noticias Argentinas agency, started as badly as possible for Godoy Cruz, as Deportivo Riestra quickly took the lead thanks to Benegas's goal, who finished in the heart of the area after a good play with forward Alexander Díaz. Just a few minutes later, Godoy Cruz equalized through Andino, who converted from a free kick after his cross passed by everyone in the area and went in in an uncanny way.
